Speaking of Strawberries, William Butler Yeats put it best when he wrote 'Doubtless God could have made a better berry, but doubtless God never did.'Ā We wonder, what would Yeats have written if he'd ever had a Strawberry Daiquiri?Ā Well, although the name sounds exotic, the Strawberry Daiquiri was actually developed by an American.Ā Ok, he was living in Cuba at the time but he was American nonetheless.Ā The man's name was Jennings Cox, a mining engineer stationed in the East of that country back in 1896.Ā Jennings developed the concoction of strawberries, coconut and rum as a special drink to offer his guests and named it after a small village near his house.Ā He could neve known the extent to which his drink would take off in popularity and certainly never have guessed that it would become a fatnastic tea blend!Ā Well, we're pleased to say it did.Ā We've blended a high grown Ceylon with all the natural fruits to embody this tea.
