From a traveling background that is vast through ownership, TranquiliTEA Steeping Company was founded on the belief that there are so many things out there in this world that drag us apart, but the one thing that has shown to bring many together throughout history and throughout the world is tea. TranquiliTEA Steeping Company believes in freshness, and having a product that you wake and gravitate to first thing in the morning, we want a tea that inspires, aspires, and relaxes. We believe in quality and customer service.
TranquiliTEA Steeping Co is here to assist with any questions or help needed while navigating our website. Whether that pertains to orders, or just working your way around looking at our products. We will have staff available to answer any questions you may have, response time vary's, they are typically within 10 to 20 mins.
We want to make sure all our customers receive their item's within a timely manner, all shipments that are received before 5pm eastern standard time will be shipped the following business day. Most orders are received within 3 to 5 business days unless expedited.
An automated email is sent out within 24 hours to each customer after purchase, if you do not receive an email with a tracking number, please email us at info@tranquiliteasteepingco.com and we will get you all the tracking information regarding your order
TranquiliTEA Steeping Co takes great pride in assuring our customer satisfaction. If you receive a package that is damaged please mail package to P.O. Box 4518, Saint Augustine Florida 32085-4518. Customer will not be responsible for cost of damaged goods, we will reimburse you for any shipping cost (reimbursement may take 7 to 10 business days)
Shipping cost are calculated by the USPS, UPS and other shipping providers based on distance and weight, as well as turn around time. Shipping cost will be evaluated at the end of your purchase.

Every tea has the ingredients listed on the package as well as the the web page. If you have any allergies related to an ingredient in a particular tea, we recommend you contact your physician before drinking
Although the majority of our teas are completely gluten free, please read the ingredients before purchase if you have a gluten allergy
Our Taste of Kyoto comes from one of the oldest districts in Japan and is a ceremonial grade matcha. Some enjoy the traditional ceremonial style and others enjoy a nice frothed latte, no matter which way you enjoy it you'll start with a tsp of the matcha powder, put it in a bowl or mug. heat water to 175 degrees Fahrenheit, pour water over matcha powder and stir till frothy and its ready to drink! If you're making a Latte, follow original step, pour frothed matcha over ice. add your favorite milk product (Almond, Coconut, Dairy) and you're ready to go!
The general rule of thumb is that we use 1 tsp for hot tea, and when making Iced were going to add 1 additional tsp, 2 tsp total. Steep your tea in half the amount of hot liquid, and pour over ice! Remember to use double the amount of tea you would use for hot tea and count the ice as part of your total water volume when deciding on how much tea to use.
Each of our teas have been researched for the best overall temperature and tea drinking experience. Each of our teas are labeled with the correct temperature for the best overall taste
No tea leaves never expire they just lose their freshness over time. However tea blends that include fruit and or vegetables are recommended to drink before the best by date. All of our packages are marked with a best by date.
Our teas are brought in through direct trade with small farms in Sri Lanka, India, and Kyoto Japan. All farms are registered and organic.
Great question! Each tea is different we recommend you read about a tea type that may interest you and the caffeine levels that it may contain. All of our teas have their estimated caffeine amounts per 8oz cup on our selection page.
We always recommend obtaining medical advice from a healthcare professional if you are interested in learning more about the precautions around drinking tea while pregnant or breastfeeding. As a general rule of thumb we recommended going with a tea that is completely caffeine free. Rooibos shows through research that it is safe to drink for nursing mothers. our South African Rooibos is a creamy/nutty tea delightful for anyone's taste buds, but can be a great alternative for nursing mothers.
